Yaee!! I'm finally back from Vietnam!

Oh, it feels soooo great to finally be back home, and in my own room, and my own bed. =] I even almost forgot how everything was in my room. It felt weird the first time walking into it. So my trip has been awesome over all. We were practically all over Vietnam. We first arrived in Saigon, then Thu Duc, where I visited my old house, and my old church (where I live and attended for at most 3 1/2 years)  We then took a 15 hour train trip to Da Nang, and from there we went to Hue. From Hue, we took about another 15 hour train trip way up to Ha Noi, and took a boat out to Vinh Ha Long, where we spent a night on the Island Cat Ba. Finally, we flew all the way back to Saigon, which only took about 2 hours, as opposed to 30 plus hours cramped in a train box. It was really weird switching from really hot, and humid weather to really cold, and rainy weather. I got a little sick because of that.  After that, we visited my dad's que, or where he was born and grew up in Long Xuyen, and then to my mom's que in My Tho. And then finally, our last few days was spent in Saigon just mostly shopping for us, and a lot for others. On our flight back, we stopped in Seoul, Korea and toured their for half a day. It was a nice stop. =] Here's some of the pictures of my trip!

Yep, so that was our trip in a nutshell. Thanks to all of those who prayed for us!!!  It was greatly appreciated!  And special thanks to Nga who tutored all my students while I was gone, and for feeding our fish...lol It's so good to be back I tell you, but I kind of miss Vietnam already and everybody over there. =/ I shall hopefully return soon again. Oy vey, and now back to school I go....kill me already!!

Wow, the last time I updated was even before school started! School is actually over for me....thank goodness!! Now, I have six weeks off for winter break woo hoo! Out of those six weeks I shall be spending three weeks in..................................................................VIETNAM!!! Can you believe it? This is my first time back ever. I always know and hear people going back now and then, and I used to be a bit jealous sometimes, since I didn't get the chance to go back yet. Now....it's my turn!! I was actually born there, in Saigon and so was my brother. We came over to America in 1990. I was only three, and my brother was just two. It will be 17 years by 2007 since my whole family came over from Vietnam! I'm sure I won't remember anything but for my parents....a lot has changed for sure in those 17 years and it'll be soo different for them. Wow...I just realized that my dad has never taken any days off or any vacation days in 17 years! I think this is the first time ever that he's taking days off from work and the church for vacation. Okay, so most of you are wondering what has happened ever since my last post in August...well not much has happened except starting and finishing up a whole fall semester, lots of eating for the Holidays like Thanksgiving, and Christmas and now getting ready for the new year and going back to Vietnam, of course. I guess the best way is not to tell you, but to show you what I've been up to lately.

I know that was a lot of pictures....but that has only shown a few days of the past 4 months of what's been going on with me ever since August.   I hope everyone enjoys their winter break and I shall see you when I come back on the 23rd of January!! I'll be leaving on the 2nd.......so HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone if I do not update by then (which I'm sure I wont)! Goodbye y'all..............I'M GOING TO VIETNAMM! Woo hoo!!! Pray for me please...for our family's safety! Thank you!!

It's 2:45 a.m. and why am I still up you ask? I don't know either.

I guess I am just trying to make my summer last as long as I can...or at least what's left of it. I can't believe I'm going back to school on Monday. Kill me already!!!  Yea, so it's been awhile since I've updated. I guess I just kind of ran out of things to say. Let's see what is new...oh, I got my wisdom teeth out last week!! Yea, I am so proud of myself for going. Seriously. I have been delaying my appointment for about a year already and my parents have been nagging me so much! But yes, the odd thing is that I had no swelling or bruising. I was soo happy and relieved.   But too bad for you guys, because that means no funny pictures of me looking like a chipmunk! Summer went by wayy too fast for me. I am really not ready to go back to school yet. I REALLY am not!! Now the only thing I have to look forward to is winter break...errr! I really don't know why I dread school so much. =/ I wish I can enjoy it like some of you do. Maybe it's all the testing such as midterms and finals that gets to me, or is it the parking? =/ I think I don't mind so much the homework or what not. I don't know...Okay well enough nonsense from me. Nothing much else to say. Well, maybe there is but not right now. I really can't think when it's almost 3 in the morning. I think it's about time I go to bed.

Goodnight everybody. I will be back.

p.s. I am such in need of a change in my life. I am such in need of God....
